Simply add your own addresses to the ProsperFleet map. You will see your locations plotted on the map, along with nearby fleets.

Scroll below to see how to:

Create Custom Locations with Single Addresses
There’s two ways you can see one custom address on the map.
In the Geography filter, open the Custom Locations filter. Type street, city, state and ZIP code. Type as many of these address fields as you can. The map will calculate a location based on the fields you fill in. A red pin will show on the map.

If you will want to use this single location often, and you don’t want to keep typing this address, you can create a Location List with one address on it. It says “list” but that doesn’t mean it needs to be a long list! To save your address on a Location List, see the steps below.
Create Custom Locations with Location Lists
1. Prepare a CSV Upload File
The first step is to create a csv file with the column headers in the Address Upload CSV Template.
Save your file in “csv” format, not an Excel format.
For the most accurate pins on the map, include as many of these address fields as you can in your file:
- Company Name – Company Name will appear on the ProsperFleet map. This can be an actual company name, or location label like “Dealer 1” or “Territory 1.”
- Street Address – When Street Address is provided along with City, State and ZIP Code, the map will show a pin at the exact street address location. If only Street Address is provided, the pin location could be an error because the same street address can be in many cities and states.
- City – If City, State and ZIP Code are provided (no Street Address), the pin will appear in the middle of the City. If only City is provided, the pin location could be an error because the same city name can be in many states.
- State – If only State is provided, the pins will appear in the middle of the state, which can have limited usefulness depending on your use case. In addition, if only State is provided for many locations, many pins will appear on top of each other on the map. If you need more precise locations, fill out additional address fields like Street Address, City and ZIP Code.
- ZIP Code – If only ZIP Code is provided, pin location will be in the center of the ZIP Code. If you need more precise locations, fill out additional address fields like Street Address, City and State.
2. Upload the CSV File
To upload your file of custom locations, go to the map User Settings.
See the Custom Locations area. Click in the dropzone, and upload your csv file.

Save Your Location List
After the file is successfully uploaded, click the “Save to Location List” button.
Type a name for a new Location List. Or choose an existing Location List to add your addresses to.

Assign Public or Private Status
By default, your uploaded Location List is Public, and is visible to all other users in your account. The list will appear in the Geography Custom Locations filter for everyone in your account to use as a filter. Other users can also edit it.
If you want your uploaded Location List to be visible only to you, and editable only by you, choose Private.

We recommend adding a color, a logo or other image to your Location List pins, so you can easily see them on the map. You can give each Location List its own unique color or image, if you want to easily see the different lists when you plot more than one Location List on the map at the same time.
Otherwise by default the custom pins with be red.
Customize Your Pins – Choose a Color
You can customize the pin color for each Location List. Click on a color in the color picker. Or you can enter a HEX or RGB color. You can make your pins appear in your company colors, or any other color you want.
You can test how the color appears, and edit the color if needed.

Customize Your Pins – Add a Logo
Instead of a pin for a Location List, you can upload a logo to appear on the map instead of a pin. For best appearance, use a square or round logo at maximum 50×50 pixels. You can try a rectangular or oval logo, but it shouldn’t be a lot wider than its height.
You can test how the logo appears, and if you want to change it, you can delete it and replace it.

See Location Lists on the Map
To see your Location List on the map, go to the Geography filters. Then choose Custom Locations. Choose a Location List in the menu.
You can plot more than one Location List on the map at the same time. For example, maybe you have company-owned stores and third party distributors. You can plot the locations of a store list and a distributor list at the same time, and see how they relate geographically on the map. You will also see the fleet prospecting data around them.

Edit Location Lists
You can edit the privacy setting, pin color and logo for Location Lists.
Go to the Map Settings. Scroll to Edit Custom Location List. Choose the list you want to edit. Click “Edit List” button.

Now you’ll see all the same settings available when you created a list. Be sure to click the “Save Edits” button when you’re done editing.
