When you download ProsperFleet data to HubSpot, if you see duplicated company records or “–” in the Company Name field, you need to change a HubSpot setting to avoid this.

Turn off automatic association between contacts and companies in HubSpot.

How to do this:

• Visit HubSpot’s Knowledge Base article: Automatically create and associate companies with contacts
• Scroll down to this section: “Turn automatic association between contacts and companies on or off.”
• Follow this instruction: “To turn off automatic association between contacts and companies, clear the Create and associate companies with contacts checkbox. With the setting turned off, companies will no longer be automatically created or associated with contacts.”
• The box should be unchecked, as shown in Step 3 in the image below.

This will apply to all software you integrate with HubSpot, not just ProsperFleet.
